Ayrburn
Ayrburn is a world-class gastronomic and family destination located just outside Queenstown. Celebrated for its revitalised heritage estate, Ayrburn offers meticulously curated experiences that seamlessly blend luxury hospitality with the tranquillity of its expansive gardens.
Heritage and Revitalisation
Founded in 1864 by Scottish settler William Paterson, Ayrburn Farm quickly became one of the region’s leading pastoral enterprises. In 2023, the estate underwent a comprehensive revitalisation, transforming heritage buildings – including the original homestead, woolshed, stables, and cartshed, into elegantly restored venues. Meticulous preservation of original premise and the integration of discreet modern infrastructure ensure these heritage treasures continue to inspire for generations.
The Heritage Gardens
Nestled against the backdrop of the Southern Alps, Ayrburn’s gardens exemplify excellence and timeless design:
- Manicured botanic gardens featuring seasonal displays of perennials and heritage roses
- A network of serene ponds and a waterfall-fed stream that revitalise the senses
- A dedicated flower farm and glasshouses cultivating specialty blooms for on-site floral installations
- Secluded reflection areas beneath sheltering hedgerows, offering private moments of contemplation
Ayrburn & Easy Big Trees: A Partnership Cultivating Beauty and Heritage
Ayrburn distinguishes itself through an unwavering commitment to detail and quality. Every element of the landscape is thoughtfully considered, ensuring nothing is overlooked. At Easy Big Trees, we resonate strongly with this meticulous approach. From the precisely arranged clusters of Buxus sempervirens spheres and entrance topiary to the orderly avenue of upright Carpinus betulus ‘Fastigiata’, each planting is designed to revitalise the senses and reflect the venue’s rich heritage. Every area of this exceptional estate offers visual delight and refined tranquillity. Be transformed by Ayrburn’s timeless elegance and exceptional craftsmanship.
