Western Red Cedar

Once mature, this is a tree of considerable strength and is often harvested for its wood which is favoured by outdoor furniture makers. Quick growing, the leaves are small and plentiful, their bright green forming an effective privacy barrier as they form a narrow conical shape. An evergreen, it makes for an excellent choice for screening, in parks and reserves. Grows to 15 x 7m.
