Small Trees 🌱

Small trees - Banner

This week we wanted to talk about something a little different.  It sometimes gets overlooked that we provide little trees too.  Indeed, we ourselves might be guilty of concentrating on the big trees, despite the nursery being full of examples of small trees that a child would tower over and easily pick up.

Which gets us to the point.  Firstly, we have an extensive range of little trees.  Secondly, each one of them has the potential for a rewarding family experience that can teach lessons, create stories and form lasting memories.  That’s because each one of them can be planted with the help of children and grandchildren.  This provides a great opportunity to discuss the importance of nature and the role it has in our lives.  That’s the lesson.

The stories come from whatever else happens when you plant trees with family.  Maybe Dad accidentally falls over or gets stung by a bee.  Ok, so pain is not ideal but laughing at Dad is always a popular pastime.  Whatever happens, when families plant trees together, they remember the story of doing so because there’s a visual reminder every time you step foot in the garden.  That’s the memories.

From small to BIG, and young to old trees, we care for them all...

Viburnum - Propagation - May

From seedlings to mature trees, we nurture them all, carefully controlling the quality.  This means we can offer you a complete service and fulfil all your needs. We should have what you want, in whatever size you want.

Whatever size you do decide upon, all the trees offer a rewarding family experience that can teach lessons, create stories and form lasting memories.  That’s because they can be planted with the help of children and grandchildren.  Even simply getting together to watch the Heritage trees planted with big machinery can be an experience.  It all provides a great opportunity to discuss the importance of nature and the role it has in our lives.  That’s the lesson.

Some of the best family times come from planting little trees together.  As a 5th generation family business we’re certain about this.

But what to plant?  We have a good range available of natives, evergreen, or deciduous small trees. Enquire for availability.
