Red Oak

It’s fiery, fast growing and has the most resplendent red, spiked leaves. This North American native makes quite the impression and is majestic and showy without ever been overbearing. Multi-lobed leaves are large and pointed. Their summer green is pleasant and warm, whilst their Autumn red is positively blazing hot. Largely columnar, it generally has a clean leaf drop in late Autumn. Deciduous, this impressive oak will grow to 10 x 7 m.

Suitable for: Park-like, avenue or specimen tree.
