European Ash

Forms a large tree with wide, rounded head providing ideal shade or shelter in large areas, especially in heavy soils where conditions are moist. Smooth stems are studded with characteristic black buds which open up to 30cm leaves. The term excelsior means very tall. Deciduous, grows to 15 x 10m.
