Keiren brings a quiet, reliable presence to the nursery, tending young stock and guiding plants through their early stages with care and consistency. He’s the good guy everyone trusts, always ready to help and always offering clear, straightforward advice on plant care and propagation.

It’s been a big Season for him at home too with the arrival of a new baby, yet he still turns up each day with that same easy smile and steady work ethic the team depends on.

Parrotia is one of Keiren’s favourites, known for its brilliant Autumn colour that shifts through reds, golds and plum tones. We like to joke that he chose it because the foliage matches his own ginger palette — a tree with the same fire in its leaves as he has in his hair.

Parrotia also has a bit of history behind it. Long before it became a landscape favourite here, it earned its reputation as a tough, characterful street tree in parts of Europe, valued for its strength, branching structure and decades of reliable performance.
