NZ Native Fine-Leaved Kowhai

The compact and fine leaves of this NZ native kowhai tree have a wide angle of separation and a semi-weeping habit. It gives a mature version a soft, gentle appearance that comes alive in late spring with bell-shaped golden flowers. It’s a semi-deciduous tree that can retain or lose leaves depending on the severity of winter, although it’s hardy enough to weather almost any conditions. It’ll grow to 4 x 2m
