Hardy, smaller evergreen tree Native to Chile with attractive dark green, waxy foliage set against warm orange-brown bark. Clusters of small white flowers cover the tree mid to late summer followed by deep red–purple edible berries. Suits hedging or screening. Grows to 5m.

Suitable for: Attractive specimen or street tree, Zen gardens.
