HOHERIA angustifolia – NZ Native Lacebark

Product Details

NZ Native Lacebark or Houhere

It’s not only ourselves that find the small star shaped white flowers attractive. Bellbirds and Tui’s are drawn to them during the summer months, as are bees. The leaves are narrow and coarsely toothed, whilst a weeping habit will show itself as the tree matures. It really is a good all-round, hardy native, suited to group plantings or for use in screening or as a specimen tree. Semi-deciduous, some leaf retention can be expected in milder winters.

Suitable for: Group planting, screening, specimen and street tree.

Features: Small white star-shaped flowers early summer, attractive to tui’s and bellbirds.

Botanical Name: HOHERIA angustifolia
