The ALNUS cordata is a large conical quick growing hardy tree with striking glossy green foliage. Is early into leaf in spring and also one of the last deciduous trees to lose its leaves in autumn. Adapts well to regular pruning, can be shaped into a handsome avenue or screen. Will tolerate most conditions including damp sites. Hardy, deciduous, grows to 10 x 5m.
