FRAXINUS oxycarpa ‘Raywoodii’ – Claret Ash

Product Details

Claret Ash

The iconic South Australian native has the most remarkable claret colour that is impossible not to compare to wine. Indeed, the leaves seemingly take in a tour of merlot, bordeaux and suchlike, before settling on the distinctive claret. This is no bad thing and the Autumn show is as warming as a fine glass of your favourite vintage. During the summer months, those slender leaves are green and plentiful, making for a full canopy in a mature version. Deciduous, the Claret Ash will grow to 10 x 5m and is well suited in avenue, group and feature plantings.

Suitable for: Avenues, group or feature plantings.

Features: Claret-red autumn colour.
