Referred to as a ‘Living Fossil’ due to its’ history, this is a very architectural tree with triangular leaves on widely-spaced branches. Named the ‘monkey puzzle’ due to being supposedly too difficult for monkeys to climb! A slow growing and fascinating-looking tree. Tolerates salt winds. Evergreen, hardy, grows to 10m.
