We don’t offer a planting service, however for specialist projects we recommend working with a landscaper who understands plant species, site conditions and the level of detail your project may need. We can point you toward trusted consultants in your region.

We’re always happy to help with tree selection.

The best time to plant is during the cooler months, from Autumn through to Spring. Trees establish more easily in these Seasons as soil stays moist and temperatures are steady.

Planting is still possible through Summer if irrigation is in place and the site can be kept consistently watered. With the right care, year‑round planting can work well.

We deliver New Zealand wide. Our team arranges delivery for you, whether it’s a single tree or a full project load. We work with trusted transport partners to make sure your trees arrive safely and in great condition.

Get in touch and we’ll talk through the best approach, including pricing.

Yes, we offer contract growing. We have extensive nursery space available and can tailor growing programmes to suit your project quantities and timelines.

ACER palmatum ‘Senkaki’- Coral Bark Maple

Product Details

Coral Bark Maple

Originally from China, Korea and Japan. Known for its coral red branches, which stand out against a green backdrop, it is a recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. It has an upright, vase-like habit and leaves of a rich green that turn to a golden-yellow in Autumn. Yet this is a tree whose best show might actually be when the leaves drop in Autumn, exposing all of those dramatic red branches, especially in a fully grown version at 4 x 2.5 m.

Suitable for: Courtyards, group or specimen plantings in sheltered areas.

Features: Fine vibrant green foliage in summer.

Botanical Name: ACER palmatum Senkaki
