Sessile Oak or Durmast Oak

Very similar to English oak but has longer leaves and acorns are 3cm long and in clusters. Will withstand coastal and dry conditions well. Hardy, deciduous, grows to 15m.

Suitable for: Avenues, laneways, shelter, specimen and woodland plantings.

Features: Heavy acorn producer.
