This pine is the only pine native to the British Isles. An attractive hardy tree with blue-green needles 3–10cm long. Has a straight trunk with pyramidal form and structured branching as a younger tree, developing rounded and drooping branches with age, giving great character. A hardy tree, great for coastal or alpine conditions. Evergreen, conifer, grows to 8 x 6m.
Suitable for: Alpine screening, coastal planting, feature planting.
