A unique tree native to Asia. Has a tidy columnar compact form with distinctive three-lobed maple-like leaves mid–deep green in summer turning brilliant shades of crimson to gold in autumn. Single white blossom in spring followed by small greenish-yellow pear shaped fruit flushed with red. Excellent attractive small tree. Deciduous, grows to 4–5m.
Suitable for: Avenue planting, smaller garden situations, feature planting.
