A hardy bushy NZ native hybrid with fine elongated oval leaves that are green with silver underside changing to bronze in winter. Attractive small yellow star-shaped flowers in spring followed by a small red berry attractive to birds – berries are sterile from hybrid forms. Tolerates a range of conditions from coastal to frost. Hardy, evergreen, grows to 2 x 2m.
Suitable for: Hedging and screening, group planting.
