CORNUS alba ‘Siberica’ – Red Stem Dogwood💖 – 28th June 2021

This lovely plant is also included in our recent ‘Winter Interest Tree’ PDF. This smaller growing tree or small shrub captures the attention with its bright red stems over the winter months.

Grows well in a variety of conditions from edge of ponds and streams to dry exposed sites. Quick growing and hardy, an excellent border or accent plant suited for many situations.

Bushy plant with dark-green foliage which provides great autumn colour in shades of orange and red, then falling to show off brilliant red stems in winter (as shown above)

Clusters of small, creamy-white flowers in summer. Best stem colour is in full sun. Hardy, deciduous, grows to 3 x 2m.
